Early Learning Centres

Childspace has five centres in Wellington,  catering for children from four months to five years of age. These centres are located in Karori, Wilton, Northland and two in Ngaio. Our hours of operation are 7.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. We close for statutory holidays, two weeks over Christmas and two 'teacher only days' each year.

Professional Development

We offer practical, up-to-date courses and workshops for early childhood professionals that will refuel, inspire and stimulate teachers.

Conferences

Childspace Early Childhood Institute hosts 2 annual conferences with national and international speakers, practical workshops, creative opportunities and a practitioner focus.

The Space Magazine

The Space magazine is a practical, fun, full colour glossy magazine published especially for teachers and parents of young children. With lots of photographs, short articles and practical activities, regular columns on parenting, science, art, food and nutrition, this magazine is a must for every early childhood service.
